A Myriad Of Gray

A Myriad Of Gray

A Poem by Vertigo

'A myriad of gray' I wonder aimlessly...the afterthought of a tomorrow cannot grow within a day with the present stages... for the color is obsolete...I am as forgotten as autumn falls in its light with its skeletal trees and fallen leaves as I breathe the frigid air...My sight is vague with the memories in their places and the blur of faces are ongoing... just as the color fades and fades but leaves traces in flashes and I would hide my eyes behind my lashes, but only when I would see you, for it is as clear as living day that I can only see with reflected light living in spite of my fears and wearing away and your face is no longer clear and it is something I have always feared that one day you will completely disappear.
