Without A Space Between Us

Without A Space Between Us

A Poem by Vertigo

Without a space in between us. To be one in all...with a teetering foundation so that I must always balance between the shadow and the light....the day and the night. What it is to be caught between living and dying, like being torn at the seams and we all live half awake and half asleep. I am more than a ghost, but I am mortal ....if you looked in my eyes it could be realized that I might be so much more...I hear whispers sometimes in my dreams where there is just you and me...and we're falling in and out of reality. I don't know where we will end but it seems all I can do is...pretend.
