Late AutumnA by VertigoIt's when the aspects of a sunset falter in the air when everything is still and I am awake even as the night passes through the confusion of changing constellations...In late autumn when I could feel the air even though it was cold and the wind moved me and particles of snow would reach my skin, white sparkles of sorrow, even as I see my breath swirl...It was then I realized that I was a part of the sky with its sighs of clouds and stars and blue-black blanketing my mind in a clear moon. © 2009 Vertigo |
