Beautiful You

Beautiful You

A Poem by Leah OverTheRainbow

The purest blue

Enlightened furthermore

A slight drop of sunshine

Glints off the tile floor

For an instant, fulmination

You are beautiful.

The light within

Falls upon all

You don't comprehend

You hold the fairest beauty of all

And my patience has worn thin

YOU are beautiful.

A smile flashes

And days become brighter

Another weight lifted, Another load lighter

Less weight hangs on tired shoulders

My world, somehow becomes brighter

YOU are beautiful.

It seems impossible to me

Somehow you cant see

YOU ARE beautiful.

Without a dishonest bone in body

No careless heart and no blame

No hatred in your eyes

No ice in your veins

No shame to your name

Don't you see?

You are you.

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

I love the imagery in the poem, and the message was quite beautiful in an of itself. I really enjoyed it. The flow was good too :)
