Imperfect reflections

Imperfect reflections

A Poem by Vertigo

Imperfect reflections cast upon cracked stained glass windows
I breathe in the coolness of morning
Hearing nothing but my soft steps
I love the feel of old abandoned churches
And the lonely echos that emanate within their walls
It reminds me of times when love meant something
Though God is such a myth
To know fellowship, and lose it
Is a lonely thing

I feel a breeze and breathe in my only fate
To stand alone...

Very good. It portrays a deep sense of loss and loneliness. And an almost sad realization of our own fate.
