Summer sun

Summer sun

A Poem by Vertigo

Within every summer sun
Living in heat
With the solemn setting
Of the unforgotten
Living in the rising
The reflections of shallow pools
With fingers running through

Under the wind
Breathing in
Unsaid
The last
The falling

And the lights in your eyes are out of reach
With the silent undertaking
The unwaking
The quiet of one
Living in the heat
Of the summer sun

Love isn't enough to be when you are more than alone with distant hands left to breathe in quiet lands and it takes everything just to stand.

We are we are a living war between the solemn setting of quiet suns
We are more than one
I love more than the streaming light that would take in every swallowing skyline even as I relive and remain hidden and undefined.

One day it will change And I will fall And I will know And I will inhale every word And every thought And know that I have loved more..
