Familiar

Familiar

A Poem by Vertigo

Temporary embodiment
Crossing streams held at length
With the redeemed in rising
And I looked through the glass
With pressed hands
And my mouth would curve
With our present state
And you would smile through the glass

Drawing the outline of my eyes
Open and sunlit
Strewn with a bare history

And i was built on music
And sound
And light
I was love in warmth held between the loneliness and solitude
Even in knowing that the world breathed
And I would know your smile
And become familiar

About
One day it will change And I will fall And I will know And I will inhale every word And every thought And know that I have loved more..
