Autumn seen through dilating amber

Autumn seen through dilating amber

A Poem by Vertigo

It is the sudden chill that brings me back to autumn
Embracing wind with trails leaving strands
And I am more than this with slight arms
And clenched hands
Speaking with clouded breath and widened eyes
To the frigid stillness...

And autumn held us
In that moment
Faded wonder falling within the trails on our skin
And every thought to where we have been

Just as I see through every caress and dilating amber,

Naturally I would love him...

But my memory would reel like faded film
With closed dampened eyes
Feeling the death of these lucid skies,
My life played on a guitars string
And fated history lost in passing.

I love the lines "But my memory would reel like faded film
With closed dampened eyes
Feeling the death of these lucid skies"

WOW! You bring such feeling a emotions in this piece.
I can see the scene through your words. You etch life
in death, and then life goes on.

Some great lines:It is the sudden chill that brings me back to autumn
Embracing wind with trails leaving strands
And I am more than this with slight arms
And clenched hands
Speaking with clouded breath and widened eyes
To the frigid stillness...
Just as I see through every caress and dilating amber,
Feeling the death of these lucid skies,
My life played on a guitars string
And fated history lost in passing.
Great write...keep up the good work!
