The grandest dreams in untold halos

The grandest dreams in untold halos

A Poem by Vertigo

I was born with my legs in motion
With that sundress wrapping around
Like the wind
Even as the earth moved to the sun
We had our own parting
A grand awakening
And we dreamed grand dreams...

And there were no angels
Besides the shadows that follow our very steps
With the only distance
Held between every lucid star,
The brevity between here
And who we are
Breathing into the consequence of my only innocence
The unquiet fiery amber
And an untold history.

One day it will change And I will fall And I will know And I will inhale every word And every thought And know that I have loved more..
