Unrequited LoveA Poem by Ninja LeeJust a poem I came up with on the spot OuO It's about unrequited love.
I know he's in your heart,
and there's no space for me. I know you want him by your side; that's where I should be. I know you don't want me, the way that I want you. But tell me I'm in your heart, because I can be so much better for you. You say you love him dearly, You say that he's the one; Have you seen him daily? A new woman on his arm by lunch? I saw him today without you, Do you truly not question his fidelity? I saw him with another one, I really want to tell you, My heart so tells me to, But what should I do about that? When it's your eyes that beg me otherwise? Oh, love is just so tragic, and fate so double tongued, How does my heart withhold it? The ache of unrequited love? I want your heart so dearly, I wish for you to be mine, I want you to tell me something, One thing before I go, tell me that you need me, That we were not just a broken hope. © 2012 Ninja LeeAuthor's Note
