On this cloudy day
I find my mind trying to find its way out of a maze
On this cloudy day
I find myself thinking about yesterday
On this cloudy day
I find myself wondering when I’ll let go of yesterday
On this cloudy day
I sit here in a bar waiting
On this cloudy day
I find myself feeling feelings that feel like insecurity
On this cloudy day
I find myself sitting here trying to find the answer to why I let those feelings of insecurity creep back into my mind
On this cloudy day
There are moments when I feel weak
On this cloudy day
There are moments when I fake being strong
On this cloudy day
I just wish the pain would go away
On this cloudy day
I wonder if I’ll run from the gym again today
On this cloudy day
I see that I can’t see
On this cloudy day
I feel shackled
On this cloudy day
I haven’t been following my diet plan
On this cloudy
I realize that I’ve driven off the road
On this cloudy day
I also realize that I can easily get back on the road
On this cloudy day
I realize that the thoughts of insecurity came back because I let them in
On this cloudy day
I realize that the power never left, it’s God-given
On this cloudy day
I remember to keep the faith
On this cloudy day
I get out of my way
On this cloudy day
Whether it’s cloudy or sunny it’s still a new day
