Have you ever?

Have you ever?

A Poem by LisaCarol
"

A poem about living in the moment

"

Have you ever ?

Laughed until you cried

When you swallowed your pride.

Then stole away the show,

With stories that you know

Have you ever?

Thrown caution to the wind,

With a frivolous, unnecessary spend.

Basked in it’s glow,

As you treasured it so.

Have you ever?

Blurted out in song,

When happiness came along.

Maybe your voice a little low,

Or the tempo much too slow.

Have you ever?

Climbed an apple tree,

Found a whole new world to see.

Ecstatic to be solo,

An apple basket in your tow.

All the things you could do,

Instead of being blue.

Let your feelings go,

Make an angel in the snow.

Thank you, dear poet, for the reminder that before the blue period there were other uplifting and fun moments.
