Conflicted

Conflicted

A Poem by Laylah

Tell them both to stop the carnage.

Them both, they need to stop this incessant bleeding!

Surely they will have us all grieving.

Conflicted, they gouge at each other like savage beasts at a feast.

She bleeds the other while she, stares into deaths icy cold eyes.

The anger, hatred the pain " the world has consumed them both.

To the slaughter they shall fall " doom and gloom surrounds them.

The vultures are circling; they must surely claim their prize.

They agree; they are both right you see.

So it’s in their death when dying that they both will be set free.

So tell them - both, to stop the carnage!
