The coming days

The coming days

A Poem by Laylah

The days draw near; death this time will kill you dead!

On that day, the skies will rain burning coals of fire,

The skies will be ablaze- there will be nowhere to hide.

On that day everyone will know His name; everyone will call his name - begging for mercy.

Raging fires will consuming all in its path.

Young and old alike on that day, no one will be spared " except he who has favour.

Beware! The ticking of the clock - death draws near.

Run! Run as fast as you can, as far as you can.

On that day, the rocks will melt, the seas will boil and mountains will be ablaze.

On that day, there will be nowhere to hide, no one to rescue you.

Beware! The clock has been set and with every tick death draws near.

On that day, we’ll be counting our sins naming them - one, by one!

Kings and servants will be alike; the rich and poor will be but the same.

On that day, there will be no mercy for the wicked.

Saints and sinners alike will know Him " all will worship Him!
