The Way

Sometimes one should do nothing.
Do we always need to do something?
The art of staying without trying;
This is also a possibility.

Come moments, those moments when
One does not want anything anymore.
Because the more you try to resist,
The highest is the risk to be destroyed.

They say try until it works for you but
After trying and failing so many times,
One can feel tired and decide to leave it;
Leaving is sometimes the best solution.

Self-pressure is not the best way to go.
It creates a tension heavy to bear.
When one looks at a river very closely,
What one observes says it all: the way.

There is a sad truth in these words that resonate with me. Sometimes achieving one's dream or even struggling to achieve it just is not worth the effort at all. It brings more misery than happiness. Indeed, it brings more misery than happiness and there is a need to release the pressure or else, we suffocate.
