I shall with thee

A poem about friendship following an AAB form.

I shall with thee
and then be we
friends to the very core

'gainst enemy
our might will be
a thing of legend lore

until we see
adversity
that leaving egos sore

we disagree
so forcefully
false slurs begin to pour

then you be me
and I be he
trust broke forevermore

and I miss thee
who once was we
piece missing from my core
