Whimsical Depression.

“Here there Mr. Droopy Face

Why do you look so sad?

Perk up now, a new day’s here!

It can’t be all that bad.”

 

I grinned at my reflection,

To prove it’s not a lie.

And what did I say back to me?

So what did you think? I tried to capture that manic kind of depression, where you try to force yourself to be happy even though you aren't. Is it whimsical and depressing?
