A poem for a new friend in need

My dearest friend

Who was unknown

I wish you well 

You're not alone

Thoughts and prayers

I send your way

In hopes your woes

Will go away

And if they should

Choose to remain

Know I am here

To share your pain

If you're in need

Please let me know

Just what to do

Or where to go

For dearest friend

I'll show I care

Yes anytime

Or anywhere

I liked it a lot, especially needed it for this moment. All too often we get caught up with everyday life that we feel un-appreciated...words from a stranger aide in that sole comfort:)
