Kilaree Cheddar

Kilaree Cheddar

A Poem by LawrenceRaybon
"

A series of Senryu that tell a story

"
Sharp, White, Delicious
With crackers or on its own
Kilaree Cheddar

Bold, Smooth and Tasty
A gift from Ireland's cows
Kilaree Cheddar

Stolen by my wife
While I sit here writing these
Kilaree Cheddar

Kilaree Cheddar
When will I see you again
Such lonely crackers

I would certainly love some of this cheese. I never get good cheese...

A well crafted story in senryu form - I could see the cheese and the "mouse" that stole it! :) Smiled at the thought of "lonely crackers".

*in the first senryu, you want its, not it's.
