Imagination

Imagination

A Poem by LawrenceRaybon

I have an imagination

I keep him as a pet

And as long as I keep feeding him

He never needs a vet

We run and jump and play all day

Until it’s time for lunch

Then we eat phluffum sandwiches

And timtoms by the bunch

We take such grand vacations

From here to Almaphet

In imaginary airplanes

Much faster than a jet!

Me and my imagination

We can climb the tallest peak

But I always seem to lose

When we’re playing hide and seek!
