Crawled into BedA Poem by LawrenceAA poem about a great day out that ended on a bad note.
My hopes soared,
My brother, ever so close I rode away, with haste For time pressed, We pushed on For a thrill here A fill there I saw the lights The people, the places, An intervention by nature, A ride home Mom and Dad Well and Well, Then we returned...... He left me, I could fell it Like a blade, Straight through my heart I ate the food he left me, Drank my watered down coke cola, Crawled into bed, And cried myself to sleep......
