Your Face

Your Face

A Poem by LawrenceA
"

A poem I wrote about my first love.

"

Everyday, I could follow the winds
All around the world and never find another
I can never look right in your eyes
It always makes me cry
The way this world scars your beautiful face
I could touch it forever, never remembering
I want to run my  hand around it
Your smooth curves, soft nose, deep chin
I love the way it looks
Beautiful as the angels that brought you
Someday, I'll wake up from this beautiful dream
That saddens me the most,
I'll never remember your face

Memory of a first love will always stay with you. The beautiful face will haunt your dreams when you are old and gray. Thank you for the excellent poem.
