Your Angel

A poem I wrote for a close friend of mine.

When trouble comes around the corner,

I'll cut its head off

When a problem pops up,

I'll solve it,

When you world is broke,

I'll fix it

When someone says something nasty,

I'll cut their tongue out

When they look at you wrong,

I'll pluck their eyes out

When they whisper,

I'll shout

When you cry,

I'll cry too

When they turn their backs on you,

I'll stand here

When you're all alone,

I'll always love you

When you're sad

I'll move mountains

When you say good-bye,

I'll cry, respect your wishes, and leave

But,

I'll be the voiceless whisper, the quick shadow, and the thousand pound leaf that flows in the air above you,

I'll always be your angel
