Forget My Love

Forget My Love

A Poem by LawrenceA
"

A break up poem

"
I was a theft,
I stole your heart from you,
Your love,
Your smile,
Your Happiness......

I was your lover,
You were my love,
Together we were soul mates,
And then........

*Poof*
It ended,
Over,
It was gone.....

I took it all,
No matter how far stretched out,
I held it in my hands,
And let it slip away........

Was it an accident?
No,
Was it on purpose?
Yes......

So why do I hurt?
If this is what I want,
Why does my heart ache?
Why do I keep crying?

Cause I fucked up,
Cause I did something that I didn't want to,
But I meant to do it,
Such a hellish crossroad to be standing at.......

A crossroad,
At the corner or love,
And adventure,
But was I blind?

Was it really a crossroad?
Could it have been a straightaway?
And I too dumb to realize it?
What hell did I choose?

Forgive my sins,
Forgive my faults,
Forgive my decisions,
Forget my love........
