A Poem by LawrenceA
"

A poem of a wish to hold this moment everyday.

"
Here
Away from those walls
where the sun rises
The roaring anger
Poisonous sting of hate
Swirling pain of Chaos
All falls silent here
I say Brother
I hear 'Yo'
I hear peace
This is what I live for
A dream
To turn this snapshot of peace
Into a daily sighting
Not one hung on the wall
But one held in arms
Hugs of peace
Good Nights that lead to Good Mornings
This is the place I belong

Dear LawrenceA,

I found a sense of serenity from reading this poem and thought of a sanctuary. Actually, I thought of my Maker and being safe in His arms because in His arms I feel safe and protected from the "swirling pain of Chaos."

Interesting write.

Sincerely Victorious

God bless

Good to know and understand what peace can be. I like the way you led the reader to the logical and good ending.
"But one held in arms
Hugs of peace
Good Nights that lead to Good Mornings
This is the place I belong
Here"
Thank you for the excellent poem.
