In Shades of Black and Grey

I wrote this whne someone close to me died....

How can the world shine so bright today?

When your not here,

To hold me tight?

How can the world be so colorful and bright to others

When to me, it is in only black and white?

I miss your smile, I miss your laugh

Is it true that good things are never ment to last?

To me, to this day,

I can only see the world in shades of black

And in shades of grey

Because you are not here with me

To tell me that everything is ok
