A kick start...All of a sudden, just like magic, at the wink of an eye, I'm overwhelmed, may be a sort of mixed feeling...yet something bothers me and here I go, to pen down my words, feelings, emotions, apology and what more, for the sake of my beloved one who loves me, who adores me and who cares for me. Yes, this is a kind of dedication for whom I treasure in life, No...No…treasure so much in life.

Guess I have to begin this way. Gifted with the world’s most awesome gift; I am undoubtedly the luckiest ONE on earth. I am completely, completely dependent on the one whom I idolize. I bet no one else is as blissful as me, as happy as me and as cheerful as me.

I know the words blissful, happy and cheerful give the same meaning, but still, I am obliged to tell it in three different ways because I am the most fortunate fellow in this universe. Now I have got the right opportunity and right time to describe about the one whom I was praising so long. It’s none but my DAD.

Dad, you are the best gift ever possessed. To be more apt, I would better call you as my ‘greatest possession’. Indeed I am honored to have you. May be, god was generous enough to give you just for me, only for me. Dad, I know, you have sacrificed your life wholly for me, because, you value me, you love me and you trust me.

I am confused. What am I going to do in return? May be, I can give you the same love, care and affection. I know these mere, utter and meaningless “so-called” three words- love, care and affection, can’t make you a contended person. Dad, you have told me a million times, “I am happy with what I have. You have to take care of yourselves. You are growing...”

But now, I am on the verge of doing something for you, something very big for you. Promise you Dad, I will for sure satisfy all your wishes and expectations from me. The little things you do for me, right from the time I wake up till I go to bed, keeps me going every day. I know, you are extra-affectionate, extra-loving and extra-caring, just because you love me.

I have hurt you a million times, but you have always been the best dad. Every time I howl at you, the vivid smile on your face makes me spellbound and makes my anger vanish at moment’s time. This fascinating smile of yours is obviously magical. Something is special about this smile. Yes, it would be benevolent on my part to list down the ingredients of this peculiar smile which contains equal proportions of:

Dad, I can’t muster up courage or I don’t have the guts to walk up to you and apologize for all the mistakes I have committed, but now, I am happy that I have got a way to express my love and apology.

Dad, you are always the best. I swear, no one can ever replace you.
