"So, you're my cousin," Andy said. I just stared at him, my mouth open in surprise. "And you're a fan of ours." He shook his head as I still stood there, my mouth agape and my eyes widened. "Do you not talk?" he asked.

"What?" I asked. "Oh, I'm sorry…it's just…you're my cousin?" I exclaimed, snapping myself back to reality. Andy smiled and nodded.

"Yeah," he said. "I'm your cousin and you're mine." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you on my mom or dad's side?" I asked. He studied me for a moment, pondering
on the thought and sighed.

"Your mom's," he said. I sighed; looking down at the floor and feeling the tears come on. I pushed them back, not wanting to cry in front of my favorite band's lead singer.

"Oh," I said. "I loved her, and I really miss her." Andy frowned, knowing I was going to cry. I never liked pity, it made me feel like I was a lowlife, but having Andy pity me was something different.

My emotions were running wild. I was excited that I was meeting Andy Biersack, I was sad that my parents were dead; I was confused the Andy was my cousin, and it was confusing on my emotions account. I just shook my head, not wanting to believe my emotions. I smiled at Andy, walking with him to the deeper part of the basement.

"Laurynn," he said. "Sweetie, this is Ashley Purdy," he said, pointing towards Ashley.

"I know," I said, smiling. He looked at me, surprised that I stopped him in the meet and greet.

"Oh," he said. I shook my head.

"Sorry, that was rude of me. But, what I meant was, yes…I am fans of you guys. More than fans, actually," I said. Andy smiled.

"My own cousin loves my music," he said. I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah," I said. I looked at Ashley, falling in love with him even before meeting him. "Hi." He looked at me, smiling.

"Hey, Laurynn," he said. "Are you happy that you're living with a different person, much less Andy Biersack…your cousin?" I smiled.

"I'm surprised actually," I said, encountering my emotions finally. Ashley smiled.

"That's good, I guess," he said, nodding. I looked over at Audrey, smiling and
hugging her. She looked down at me, smiling.

"You're welcome," she said. This home, plus the people living in it, was going to be my life, and I would live it to the fullest, whether it means living with Andy and his band mates, or not.

I was sitting on my bed, my laptop in my lap and the door closed. It was dark in the room, since the curtains were closed, the lights were turned off, and my room was colored black. I was getting used to my room already, after five hours of hanging around the house.

A light knock came on my door, Ashley walking into the room and smiling. "Someone likes to be in the darkness," he said, turning a light on. I smiled, putting my hands up and blocking the light.

"No, the light…it burns!" I exclaimed, laughing. Ashley laughed as well.

"You're funny," he said. I smiled.

"Thanks, I get that a lot…" I said, remembering where I got my humor from; my dad.

"I'm sorry with what happened between your mom, dad, and grandma. It seems as if it was a major loss," he said. I sighed, frowning and shutting my laptop, patting the bed next to me and letting him sit down.

"My mom and dad were the energetic ones, always picking a sport to play between
our family friends. My dad was the funny one, take into notice where I get my humor from, even if he was drunk. My mom was the one who gave advice to the people who needed it. She understood where I came from with my problems and needs, and she understood what I was going through, since she was a teenager once," I explained. Ashley looked at me, nodding in reassurance as I paused. "I just miss them, and so does the rest of my family."

"Well, I'm always here for you, Laurynn. You seem pretty nice, plus you're really beautiful," he said. My eyes widened as he said that. The love of my life called me beautiful, and it made me feel special.

"Um…thanks, Ashley," I said, smiling. He smiled back.

"No problem, Laurynn," he said, bringing me into a huge hug and not letting go for what felt like three minutes.

"I love you," I whispered to myself.

"What?" Ashley asked, hearing something that I'd said.

"Oh nothing," I said. "I said nothing." He smiled, letting go of me and letting me crawl under the covers. He sighed, getting up and walking out of the room, turning the light out and closing the door before he left.

I opened my laptop back up, going to Facebook and smiling as I saw that Autumn, my friend from back home, had messaged me.

Hey sweetie, how are you doing? she asked. I smiled.

I'm doing good, found out that the love of your life is my cousin, I said, knowing she wouldn't believe me.

You mean…Andy? I smiled to myself once more.

Yup, he's my COUSIN! I looked around my room, taking in my surroundings once more and knowing I'd love it here.

Laurynn, there's something I need to tell you… she said. I furrowed my eyebrows, scared as to what she was hiding from me. Though she was my best friend, we did keep secrets away from each other.

Okay… I said.

Well… she started.
