Unexpected: 2A Story by Laurynn Fuentes c:I write this story alone, and I work alone in most of my series. But, if anyone ever wants to collab with me, just message me and I'll gladly take part in a series with you :D
"Laurynn," Audrey's voice came. "Come on, sweetie. We're here." She shook me a bit, waking me up more and smiling as I sat up.
"Where are we?" I asked, taking into account of my surroundings. She smiled. "You're new home," she said. I smiled, looking at the house and how big it was. "I know it's a huge home. You'll understand once you meet Andrew." I smiled, lifting the seat up and unbuckling myself, grabbing my purse and searching for my makeup bag. "Hold on," I said. "Let me make myself presentable." I smiled, flipping open the sun blocker in the car and looking in the mirror, reapplying my thick eyeliner around my eyes, shadowing it with black eye shadow. My bright, blue eyes were gigantic even without widening them. I loved my eyes and thought they were my best feature. I was almost seventeen, but the reason why I had a foster care guide was because my parents never taught me how to work, and spoiled me. So, I moved around a bit with Audrey, finding a new family member every time. "Alright," I said, putting my makeup back in my bag and smiling. "I'm ready." For some reason, something told me that this house would be my last house for the rest of the time. We both walked up to the door through the grass, Audrey smiling as she knocked on the door. My eyes widened as I heard about three boys screaming for a boy named Andy. "Audrey, come in!" the boy exclaimed, leaving me out of this conversation, of course. I looked up at Audrey. "Stay here, I need to talk to Andrew for a bit," she said. I nodded, sitting down on the porch and taking out my phone. The front door closed, leaving me in the warm sun for almost five minutes. I sighed, looking at the texts my cousin Aaron had sent me. I'm so sorry for your loss, one of them read. I frowned, remembering what my mom looked like and how beautiful she was. That's where I got my eyes from, her. Her eyes were so big and brown; they were her best feature as well. Aaron was on my dad's side of the family, living in California and making it impossible for me to go there by myself. Plus, he was only eighteen, and he wouldn't know how to take care of a sixteen year old. I sighed, seeing that Audrey had opened up the front door and smiled. "Come on in," she said. I smiled, taking my bag and walking into the house. I walked into the foyer, looking every which way to get used to my surroundings. There was a black, leather couch in the middle of the gathering room, with a coffee table in front of it, facing the kitchen. The gathering room was colored brown, dark enough for no one to look into the house when it was night time. The kitchen was colored yellow, with a table that held eight people to eat. It was a big table, but it looked like it belonged in the kitchen. Then, there was an island, covered with papers and paper plates. The counter was piled high with empty pizza boxes. I smiled, thinking about Jake Pitts and how much he loved pizza. Audrey smiled as I looked around the house, nodding in approval of the downstairs. She took my hand, walking up the stairs and showing me the rooms. "This is your room," she said, pointing to it and letting me walk in. I widened my eyes, seeing my perfect bedroom. There was a bed in the corner, up against the window, a flat screen TV hanging on the wall, a walk in closet, and a desk that held a laptop. I smiled, seeing the laptop and instantly falling in love. "I'm living here forever," I said. She smiled. "Good," she said, taking my hand and leading me back downstairs. "Wait until you see who your cousin is and his friends and girlfriend." My eyes widened as she lead me down to the dark basement. "Audrey," I said. "I can't see a damn thing." She held my hand, leading me deeper down into the basement and once we hit carpet, I could tell I was going to love who I was living with. "Laurynn, turn around and close your eyes," she said, giggling. I did as I was told, closing my eyes as she turned the light on. I sighed, jetting out my hip and becoming impatient. "Audrey," I said after a minute or two of no one talking. My eyes widened as I opened them, seeing only a black wall and no one there. I turned around, looking up the stairs and seeing the door closed, the way we left it. I furrowed my eyebrows, turning once more and widening my eyes.
