Chasing the Thought Away: 7

*Emily's part*

Emma and Jake were laughing when Laurynn and I arrived at Emma's place. Laurynn and I sat down and Emma complemented Laurynn's shirt- It was batman, and Emma's always loved batman.- But then they didn't speak to each other for the rest of  the night.

Laurynn and I were settled in for the night, seeing as Emma invited us to stay with her that night, and She kissed me and looked over to Emma and smirked. Emma glared at her and hissed and went off to bed. I looked down to Laurynn "That could be why she doesn't like you… She doesn't like flaunters."

We walked into the room and laid down, her head was on my chest. "She's actually not that mean once you get to know her." I said, kissing her forehead. "Don't worry. She'll be better once she gets that cast off."

"I think she likes you or something." Laurynn said to me, looking up at me with those bright blue eyes that got me every time. She seemed relaxed, but I could tell she was jealous of my close friendship with Emma.

"Someone's Jealous!" I said, tightening my arms around her and laughing. But suddenly there was a scream from downstairs, then Laughing. We both ran downstairs. Jake and Emma were sitting on the couch, laughing at the TV.

"It's kinda sad… the effects are so terrible." Jake said to Emma, who was laughing.

"Agreed." She said. "I should try to go to bed…" She said, attempting to stand up, but falling back on her a*s.

Jake laughed. "Careful." He said, snuggling into the couch. Emma smiled and just sat back down, and just watched TV.

I looked at Laurynn and Smiled, motioning to go upstairs. We snuck up the stairs and I laughed at the dumb luck that Emma has a friend now. Laurynn went straight into bed and fell asleep after I had joined her about 20 minutes later.

Somehow this just feels right…
