Chasing the Thought Away: 2A Story by Laurynn Fuentes c:*this is my part :D*

Being alone for a while isn't so fun, but it has its times where it can be. You can be at parties with friends, and flirt with any guy you want. You can get any guys number, without feeling guilty. You can do anything, but you can also feel lonely after a while. But my story is really different. I haven't been alone forever; I haven't been lonely for a while. I've always had at least one guy I could come to for advice. And the one guy I'd always have was Vic. Vic Fuentes. Lead singer of Pierce the Veil, and the best boyfriend a girl could ever ask for. He was energetic, funny, spontaneous, everything I wanted. And now I had him. I looked towards the window, mid-day sunlight pouring into my room, draping me in warmth and excitement. Today was just another day, but it was another exciting day with Vic. He and I were going to a coffee shop for a date, then off shopping with each other. Jake Pitts, my cousin and lead guitarist of Black Veil Brides, was going to tag along. I walked towards the window, putting my hand against the glass and feeling the warmer sunlight as it pointed down towards the city people. Even though I was the fifteenth floor above the ground, I could decipher people who walked in and out of the hotel I was staying in. Vic and I were visiting family here in New York, and we'd left from California. Vic and I lived together, even though we were only 19 years old. Vic had left to go get some money for him, and he was going to pick Jake up afterwards. I smiled; just thinking about Vic and I being together made me feel warm inside. To think that Vic was the only person that produced that warmth was amazing. Just one person could make you feel so much different from all the rest of the girls in the world. I walked towards my temporary closet, opening the door and looking inside. It looked sparse, and that'd change after today, since we were all going shopping. But I picked out a good looking outfit from the clothes I'd packed for the trip. I grabbed a cut off shirt that said "Trouble Maker", a white camisole to hide my skin under the shirt, a pair of shorts in which you could see the pockets peek out, a pair of FOX flip flops, a wooden bracelet that said "Love" in cursive, and a necklace that said "Believe" in cursive as well. I looked in the mirror, nodding to myself and smiling, walking towards the radio that we had brought. I opened the CD input, popping in Pierce the Veil's album "Selfish Machines". I smiled as Vic's voice filled the room, making that warmth ball up in my stomach. I walked into the bathroom, grabbing my makeup bag and rummaging around in it for the desired makeup I needed. "I, don't care if your beautiful lips, exist out there, 'cause I'm wonderless why the best can't make it in Hollywood, no more." His voice filled my ears, making me moan to myself. His voice always set me off. I looked at my phone, checking the time before I started to apply my makeup. It was only 4:12 in the afternoon. Vic had left to pick Jake up about twelve minutes ago. He'd probably be back any minute now. As I grabbed the black eyeliner, I sung to Vic's voice. I rimmed my eyes thickly with the dark eyeliner. I smiled, nodding to myself and grabbing the mascara, applying that as well as the gray eye shadow to match my shirt. As I checked my makeup, moving my head to see if it was all even, I walked out of the bathroom. I grabbed my perfume, spritzing myself with it and shaking around. My shaking around in the perfume got a little too carried away, as I realized that I'd started dancing to Vic's voice. The door barged up, and in came Jake and Vic, smiling widely. "Jake! Vic!" I exclaimed, blushing a bit from my dancing. "Don't mind me. But, I'm ready when you are," I said, looking towards the two of them. Vic's long, brown hair covered his face and his smile. It looked so soft, and I just wanted to go up to it and pet it. Jake's hair was teased, like it usually is. Jake was only three years older than me. I smiled, grabbing my phone and wallet and walking out of the threshold and into the hotel hallway. We were off to the coffee shop we'd planned to go to for months. "Are you Vic Fuentes?" a fan girl had shrieked once we reached the coffee shop. I rolled my eyes behind my sunglasses, trying not to show the fans, and Vic, that I was annoyed with the girls. He nodded slightly, reaching for a pen in his pocket to sign some stuff. Of course, a bunch of other girls had crowded around him, asking for his autograph. Another group of girls crowded around Jake, asking for his autograph as well. It was a never ending cycle between all the girls, asking for autographs. I sighed, walking out from the middle of the two boys, and watching the crowd recede. "God damn, girls don't know how to give us privacy when we're with our girlfriends," Vic said, walking over towards me and hugging me tightly. I looked towards Jake as he nodded, agreeing with Vic. "Let's just go have some coffee," I said, smiling. We walked into the coffee shop, grabbing a seat and looking at the menu. I decided to get a Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino. Vic just ordered a Hot Chocolate and Jake had a bottle of water. He thought going to Starbucks was overrated. I smiled as the waitress set our drinks down, flirting with Vic. I rolled my eyes and took my sunglasses off, taking a sip out of my coffee and looking up at Jake. He smiled, teasing me and shaking his head. "She's probably just a fan," he whispered. "Don't worry about it." I nodded, looking towards Vic as his phone rung. His smile dropped as he looked to me, shaking his head. "I don't know this number," he said. I looked at him, taking the phone and reading the number. It looked like the number from the local hospital. I gave him the phone, widening my eyes. "Answer it, it's the number for the local hospital," I said, worried. He nodded, opening the phone and listening on the other end. "Hello?" he said. A pause came before he nodded to himself. "Yes, this is him." I took another drink out of my coffee, staring at him intentionally as he stared back. Jake sat there, staring at the two of us. "Oh s**t," he said. My heart dropped, nervous of what the other end was saying. "We'll be there in a couple of minutes," he said, hanging the phone up and grabbing his hot chocolate. "What's happened?" Jake and I asked in sync. "My friend that's literally like family to me was in a car crash. We need to go," he said, rushing out of the coffee shop and to the streets, flagging down a taxi and getting in it with Jake and I following behind. "To the hospital," Vic said, looking out of the window. I didn't even know the person that we were going to go visit, but I felt bad for who they were, and Vic. I looked towards Vic, putting a comforting paw on his knee and hugging him. "It'll be fine," I said. "Whoever it is, they'll be okay. Especially when you're going to be there." He smiled and hugged me tighter. "Yeah, but hopefully it isn't bad." I nodded. One person died in that car crash. © 2012 Laurynn Fuentes c:Author's Note
