A Poem by Laurierose
"

Take me back

"

Place your hand in the sand

And plunge for my heart

Pull the remnants slowly

But don’t tear it apart

We’ve laid obstacles to rest

And allowed pieces to fall

When in spring, we’ve settled

Yet no one’s comfortable, at all

Offset my needs;

Make me again

Believe

The cool sand is home

With my heart underneath

this is so real....as allegory it works well.
I started imagining back to my days at Rye Beach in Jersey....swimming at the ocean, making castles in the sand...and now i am wondering how many hearts over which I might have been building in that sand.

Our fingers often do the walking and waking. A child's lullaby as they make sand castles and dreams...
