Depths of Sunshine

Depths of Sunshine

A Poem by Laurierose
"

Yes, I've missed you; Welcome home.

"

We only have today to make them see.

So we shined;

I finally saw what was important

And that importance

 Made them blind.

Casually linger in my trail so I can memorize

Those steps.

Like sand-spun plankton, I’ll float away with you.

Though weightless, I felt the depths.

Wading through the great, big blue.

One could get lost searching the extent of my

Love for you.

So beautiful dear poet.
"Like sand-spun plankton, I’ll float away with you.
Though weightless, I felt the depths.
Wading through the great, big blue.

Love for you."
The above lines. Good to get lost in the emotion of love. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

"What a feeling in my soul. Love burns brighter than sunshine." -Aqualung

The first verse feels a little mysterious, referring to something that can't be known or imagined by me. It feels like a lead-in to the rest of the poem, which really sparkles with fresh uninhibited writing. I won't repeat Coyote (review below), but these lines are so imaginative & well-crafted! The ocean is a great metaphor for feelings that feel like infinity (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

and depths of love expressed..Love how you made "plankton" sound romantic...not easy to do.
sometimes few people will see the worth of another...but that is priceless...and others could go broke being so blind.
