Mornings in Spring

Mornings in Spring

A Poem by Laurierose
"

Beauty so blinding...

"
Sun rose
 Beautiful petals
  Eyes wide
   I caught it
    And fell

I like to think of the slow, unraveling of a flower. Thank you for the touching review.
that kind of fall is never forgotten, the only kind that feels both good and bad. Beautiful lines, loved it!

not a problem
I think you've done a good job with the wordplay here! With "rose" being both the flower and the past tense of "rise", and the ending with the catch and the fall.

Ah! I see you've caught that, lol. Thank you!
This is startling to read becuz it doesn't end the way I thought it would. Perfect depiction of being lured into a trap disguised as a rosy scene! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Yes, the falling can be scary...even in love if we're not careful. Thanks for the sincere review.
wish it was a morning in spring

That's the thing with roses > They dont last very long
Catch them when you can
