The basket is weaved
And the lines are fine
Feelings couldn't be more
Intertwined
Buckling down the layers
And weaving in some color
More bamboo is peeled
As the lace of love is wheeled
The brackets are gone
So there leaves not a gap
So the weaved top is to be put on
With that lovely laced cap
at some points I felt You are speaking about falling in love and then how that love grows as we are together, and at other points I felt the opposite, this same basket that bonds us, separates us too, we are falling out of love, becoming nothing, with no feelings...

This is a brilliantly crafted metaphor that can be read in a dozen different ways. Upon first reading, I was seeing everything literally as basket weaving, your descriptions are so clear & vivid. But upon reflection, I could see this as the vessel that each of us can be, possibly woven by the hand of God, or as a self-realized person finding & defining him/herself. Nicely suggestive (((HUGS)) Fondly, Margie
