Freezing moon

Freezing moon

A Poem by Ghoul

I follow the path illuminated by your beauty
toes sinking into the dirt, grass tickling my ankles
the forest beams with your radiant glow

Freezing moon, I really need to know
does my fate end here? or do I follow?
spikes of ice decorate my lungs
dead trees grace my ears as their low melodies are sung

a blanket of fog dances across the surface
concealing me away from the looming eyes
Freezing moon does not forgive nor forget
continue to fight until your last debt is set
