All he wanted

Was a normal life

A girl to grow up with

And become his wife

All he wanted 

Was water to drink

To wash his hands

In a clean sink

All he wanted 

Was food to eat

Instead of nothing

To chew on some meat

All he wanted 

Was a safe life to live

So he could become one of us

But too help and too give

But what he wanted

He never got

So he suffered

All for what?

For happiness

For love 

All he wanted was

To spread his wings

To fly like a dove.
