It Hurts Sometimes

It Hurts Sometimes

A Poem by lollypop

It hurts sometimes

It causes pain

As they don't hide their clear disdain

The dirty stares

The hateful names

Behind my back, laughter attacking

my heart

It hurts sometimes

When you're all alone

And they decide the days tone

Whisper Whisper

Lies Lies

Pretend Pretend

Pretend you're alone.

It hurts sometimes

But I'm okay

When I look back on yesterday

They shoot me glares, they call me names,

But they can't hurt me with these games

they play.

It hurt sometimes,

but now no more,

they don't know me,

I'm a different girl,

No longer weak or frail or small,

Because I make them think I'm tall

And I'm too good,

to play their games,

Really they should just go away,

Because I'll never let it show,

The way they've hurt me,

So

So

so.
