I am reminded of an ancient and strange bit of literature about Chuang Tzu: He dreamed he was a butterfly and lived his life flitting amongst the flowers. Enjoying the fragrant air and freedom of flight. He was happy. Then, he awakened to find himself solidly Chuang Tzu. He was perplexed. Was he a man who dreamed he was a butterfly? Or, a butterfly dreaming he was a man...
It's easy to forsake "Reality" for the oneiric realms. Although, unless lucid dreaming, does one ever really pause to consider how real or unreal the experience? When a dream turns unpleasant, do we not feel it as though real? Sure, life has consequences but, like dreams, we have the ability to call the shots. If we dare.
I'm a fan of dreams (Look who my avatar is). I dream and then go about doing whatever is necessary to fulfill those dreams.
Consider this: "It is a good viewpoint to see the world as a dream. When you have something like a nightmare, you will wake up and tell yourself that it was only a dream. It is said that the world we live in is not a bit different from this."-- From Hagakure by Yamamoto Tsunetomo
Bet you never dreamed that such a short and simple piece would evoke such a long response, huh? It's how you know that you've done well...

Our dreams are wonderful, magical places where anything can happen and life is perfect and surrounded by impossibilities that defy logic and there is neither need nor want, a land of peace and plenty; but eventually we always have to wake up. Every fairytale our mind convinces us life is when we're asleep in our dream world ends up being bogus, and the only thing we can do about it is to wake up, and try to make our dreams a reality, without the illusion and the illogical imposibilites. And I like this piece because it makes me feel like I'm not the only one who thinks that. :)
Sometime need to be alone and try to find peace in dreams. I like the emotion and the desire of this poem. Life can be hard. Good to rebirth some energy and try again. A excellent poem.

I'm just living life, hoping each day is better than the last. I'm new to writing and just would like some opinions on the quality. Yes, I know some are personal but I would still like some opinions.. more..
