We Can't Hold On To People ForeverA Poem by Laura Harrison
In life
people come and then they go and sometimes all we can do is hold open the door and let them walk through because we can't hold onto people who no longer want to be held we can't fix something that doesn't need to be repaired and sometimes in life we're the ones to leave sometimes the person we want is no longer the person we need the world keeps spinning and our lives carry on without that someone who was in it for so long it's true that we can't rely on others to make us happy because we're the only person who matters in our story in life, people come and then they go but regardless of that we're never alone. © 2020 Laura HarrisonReviews
