You Look at me Like I'm Everything I'm NotA Poem by Laura HarrisonYou look at me as If I put the stars in the sky but please don’t expect me to be extraordinary I am nothing special I’m just a normal person there are going to be days when I get mad or sad or days when I can’t even be bothered to get out of bed. You look at me as if I am Cleopatra or Joan of Arc but I am not a strong woman there are going to be times when I will shut myself off from the world when I will build walls around my heart and I won’t want to see anyone including you. You look at me and you see something about me that I can’t see but you never expect me to be something I can’t ever be and despite all these terrible traits I’ve listed about myself I know that you will always stay because you look at me and I hear
