Change

Isn’t it funny how things can change so quickly?

How our daily plans can change

from doing nothing to something

or vice versa

how people can fall in love

in a split second

and fall out of it

a second after

how one moment we can be feeling fine

then there’s tears in our eyes

in next to no time

but one thing we’ll never be able to change

is the fact that nothing is meant to stay the same

yet we still get frightened when they don’t

because then we have to get used to what we don’t know

but if there’s one thing that life is taught me

it’s that life is never supposed to be easy

the best thing to do is just go with the flow

and be happy with the destination

no matter where you end up

because we’re on this world for rather a long time

it would be boring if we stayed in the same place

for the rest of our life

and life is there to be, well, lived

so push your fear away and live it.
