Writers Block at its Worst

Writers Block at its Worst

A Poem by Laura Harrison

I'm wide awake at 1am
With a thousand words swirling around in my head
I'm dying to get them down on paper
But I can't form a single sentence
When I pick up my pen
This is writers block at its worst
When there's endless things that I need to say
But I can't express myself in my favourite way
I guess my feelings will have to wait for another day
And I'll try to get some sleep now
If the inessant indecipherable words in my mind
Would just calm down
