Blank PageA Poem by Laura HarrisonOur lives start out as a blank page there to ink all of our adventures upon, whether good or downright terrible but there have been plenty of times when I wished I had written my life in pencil, so that I could erase all of my bad moments and mistakes there have been times when I wished I could forget
everything and start from the very beginning but I have since realised, that our lives are not supposed to be perfect; we are supposed to experience heartbreak and pain and what it feels like to feel so small in this gigantic world because with mistakes and pain comes wisdom; and we need them to grow and life is not just a never-ending circle of misery- in between the bad moments, we are rewarded by incredible ones like first kisses and last dances and anything else that might make us happy. I guess what I’m trying to say is that we shouldn’t worry too much about making every moment perfect because the book titled ‘life’ is a long one and it’s not yet published so there’s plenty of time to edit it. © 2014 Laura HarrisonReviews
