Red StainsA Poem by Laura HarrisonThere’s a
ketchup stain on the
t-shirt that you bought me but I refuse
to buy Vanish stain remover because it
reminds me of the blood stain on my bed after we
made love for the first time and the ones
that covered my wrist after you
kissed me for the last time.
It was then
that I understood why the
colour red not only signifies love but danger
too because if
you take the risk of listening to your heart then you are
likely to get fucked over.
Now red
stains are everywhere I turn but I refuse
to look away because they
remind me not to fall for anyone again I see danger
when I see the red stains. © 2014 Laura HarrisonReviews
