Freedom On A Page

I have so much that I want to say

but every time I try, no words escape

I have a lot of feelings that I want to share with you

yet my mouth might as well be covered in glue

 

but if you give me a pen

you will see my heart spilling onto the page

through this black ink that I now control

give me a pen

and you will see my soul

 

There are no boundaries when it comes to words

I could create an entire new world

but I’d rather tell you what I’ve been through

all about my life before I met you

read all about the hurt and pain

give me a pen

and you will see
