My Greatest GiftA Poem by Laura HarrisonYou came
into my life, and like a
present awaiting me on Christmas day, I peeled off
your wrapping; I delved
deep into your mind to find the
greatest gift that had ever been mine
You were the
last thing that I expected, but I’m glad
that you belong to me because I’ve
never had anybody who I adore who loves me
even more
And you have
your flaws like any other But I would
never return you for being broke because
imperfections make you real and that’s
the way love is supposed to feel © 2014 Laura Harrison |
