Dead FlowerA Poem by Laura HarrisonA poem for my friend who committed suicide tonight.Flowers are beautiful But not as beautiful as you In winter flowers shrivel up and die I wish you hadn’t done that too
You couldn’t see your petals You weren’t yet ready to bloom Instead you stood on top of that building And jumped straight to your doom
Flowers can grow back They can get back to the start I know that you are dead on Earth But you will always be alive in my heart © 2013 Laura HarrisonAuthor's Note
