Where were you

When I needed you the most

We used to be so close

But like a flame that once burned so bright

Our love died out

Now there is no light

 

In my world

Everything is blurred

You left me lying in a pool of doubt

Was I to blame?

Will I ever be the same?

How will I ever cope with the pain?

 

For the last 10 months I have been wondering

If you are suffering or missing me at all

Because I still think about you everyday

Since I last saw you that day in May

These thoughts of you torment my mind

I hope one day I will find

You standing there in front of me

Apologizing for everything

But for now I just need closure

Tell me why we are over
