Two Minds

I am in two minds whether to leave or stay

I’m sick of feeling like this everyday

You mess me around and play with my heart

If you love me so much, why are you tearing me apart?

 

We are supposed to be in a relationship but I haven’t seen you in a week

Just because you have better company to keep

You seem to think that this is ok

How would you feel if I walked away?

 

As I gaze at this heart-shaped necklace resting on my chest

I think about when our love was at its best

I remember when I was always number one

Now those days are long gone

 

But I love you more than everything I know

And I don’t want to let you go

Tell me what I can do to fix this mess

Tell me how to make us last
